Our response to Covid 19!
After an exciting and successful 2020 inaugural festival in Philadelphia, we were
determined to forge ahead with our mission despite the myriad complications in the world. Our team of volunteers strived to learn new ways to interact with our participants. We have had tremendous, and unexpected, success in school
participation and in developing content for the festival. Our reach has spread from coast to coast. We are thrilled to welcome these new states to the festival: California, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Texas,
Virginia and Wisconsin.
Two new categories — SmartMusic with Gordon Goodwin and members of the Big Phat Band and Individual Soloists sponsored by ArtistWorks — and our enriching masterclasses open up opportunities for bolstering music education and celebrating our participants’ individual efforts. Virtually, and in spirit, we are together this year.
