2021 Festival Rules

JAZZ VOCAL SOLO

  1. Students entering the Jazz Vocal Solo Category must be registered by their school director or other school official.
  2. Students will submit their vocal video recordings consisting of 2 vocal selections of varying styles by May 1, 2021. Each selection should not exceed 5 minutes in length.
  3. All recordings should be live recordings without editing or intonation adjustments.

INSTRUMENTAL JAZZ SOLO

  1. Students entering the Instrumental Jazz Solo Category must be registered by their school director or other school official.
  2. Students will submit their video recordings consisting of 2 selections of varying styles by May 1, 2021. Each selection should not exceed 5 minutes in length.
  3. All recordings should be live recordings without editing or intonation adjustments.
