2027 REGISTRATION

Register to participate in the 8th annual 2026 National Jazz Festival in Philadelphia, PA held on April 17, 2026, with additional NJF performance and educational opportunities April 15-17!

Payment paperwork must be finalized by December 18th, 2026 or waiting list participants will be contacted. Due to Pennsylvania Convention Center fee deadline, all NJF registration fees/ are non-returnable after January 18th, 2027.

Welcome to the 8th Annual National Jazz Festival! We're excited to welcome your school to another weekend celebrating jazz performance, education, and creativity.

Please use the registration options below to register your students and ensembles for the 2027 National Jazz Festival.


BEFORE YOU BEGIN

There are four separate registration divisions:


🎺 Instrumental Division


🎤Vocal Division


🎙️Vocal Solo Division


🎧Recording Arts Division


IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

EACH CATEGORY HAS ITS OWN REGISTRATION FORM.

YOU MAY INCLUDE MULTIPLE ENSEMBLES ON ONE FORM ONLY IF THEY ARE ALL PART OF THE SAME DIVISION.

YOU CANNOT COMBINE DIFFERENT DIVISIONS ON ONE FORM. IF YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR MORE THAN ONE DIVISION, YOU MUST COMPLETE A SEPARATE FORM FOR EACH DIVISION.


For example:

  • Multiple Instrumental Ensembles (ex. Large Ensemble + Combo) → ✅ May be registered together

  • Multiple Vocal Ensembles (ex. Large Group + A Cappella) → ✅ May be registered together

  • Vocal Ensemble + Instrumental Ensemble → ❌ Must be registered separately

  • Instrumental + Recording Arts → ❌ Must be registered separately

  • Vocal Ensemble + Vocal Soloist → ❌ Must be registered separately

*Vocal ensembles and vocal soloists must be registered separately. If a school has multiple vocal soloists, all soloists may be registered together on the Vocal Solo Registration form. However, the Vocal Solo Registration form must still be submitted separately from the Vocal Ensemble Registration form.


IN SHORT: MULTIPLE ENSEMBLES CAN BE REGISTERED TOGETHER ONLY WHEN THEY ARE IN THE SAME DIVISION. DIFFERENT DIVISIONS REQUIRE DIFFERENT FORMS.

COMING TO PHILADELPHIA EARLY? JOIN THE NJF PRE-FESTIVAL PARTY!

THURSDAY, APRIL 15TH - FRIDAY, APRIL 16TH

★ Program 2: $600.00 Registration Fee: Receive a 50 minute, pre-festival clinic from one of our elite NJF visiting artists. Let them fine tune your ensemble for the upcoming Convention Center festival!

★ Program 3A – $300.00 Registration Fee: You and your students will experience a 45 minute visit to a professional recording studio. Let them see and experience a lifetime of memories where the magic of recording music happens. Perfect career exploration choice for your students.

★ Program 3B – $1000.00 Registration Fee: Spend 90 minutes creating a recording your ensemble in a professional recording studio.  Leave Philadelphia with a  stereo mix and multi-tracked channels for your students to learn from.  A life time of memories preserved by this unique performance of your ensemble.   

★ Program 3C – $1750.00 Registration Fee: Includes recording fees + an NJF world class guest soloist to your recording project. Professional post-performance editing packages available.

★ Program 4 – $2000.00 Registration Fee: This program is available April 14th -16th. Experience a World Class Live Jazz Show with a Dinner coupon at a Philadelphia Jazz Club. Jazz Concert includes Dinner coupon and preferred seating for 20 students and their director. Additional tickets including dinner are available for parents & guests $125.00 each

★ Program 5 – $2750.00 Registration Fee: Perform at one of Philadelphia’s Premier Jazz Clubs. Note this special NJF package is available on a limited basis April 15 -17. Perform with an elite NJF guest artist at one of the famous “Philadelphia Jazz Clubs”. You will rehearse with the artist and perform one set in the evening. Includes dinner coupon for 20 students and director. Additional tickets (including dinner) are available for parents & guests. Live Streaming services of your show can be added to this package for $300.00. Professional Video & Audio recording services of your show can be added to this package for $1000.00.

★ Program 6 – $1500.00 Registration Fee: Pre-Register with NJF to be part of a NJF Philadelphia Jazz Club Jam Session! BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT! You and up to 20 of your kids can perform with or watch an NJF approved Jam Session and eat “Philadelphia Cheese Steak and Pretzels” ! (menu available) Note this special NJF package is available on a limited basis April 15-17.
