★ Directors must provide each of the 2 NJF adjudicators a conductors score for each piece being performed and include a list of the soloist information (instrument and name) This information and your program information with your ensemble members names must be uploaded to the NJF 2027 Festival Information Upload Folder by March 1 2027.

★ Students entering the Jazz Vocal Solo Category must be registered by their school director or other school official.

 

★ Students will submit their vocal video recordings consisting of 2 vocal selections of varying Jazz styles by December 18, 2025. Each selection should not exceed 5 minutes in length.

 

★ The top 5 High School and top 5 Collegiate vocalists chosen by the committee will be invited to attend the National Jazz Festival and compete in a live performance setting.

★ The Top 5 High School & Top 5 Collegiate Students and Alternates will be informed of their selection status by January 18, 2026.

​

★ Music will be emailed to the 5 students selected to perform for our adjudicators at the National Jazz Festival. Selected students also receive complimentary registration into our new for 2026 NJF Vocal All Star Group.
